San Jacinto Senior Citizen Community
In 1996, the AGA's first low-income senior residence, the San
Jacinto Senior Citizen Community, was developed with major funding
support from the State of Texas. Located at 1512 El Paso, San
Jacinto's 50 units offer the conveniences of any modern apartment.
Amenities include handicapped accessibility, two courtyards, a green
house, an elevator, access gates, icemakers, a community room with

Ernest C. Olivares Senior Community Residence
This low-income senior complex was completed in November 2002 and
is located at 1003 Vera Cruz Street. Fifty-nine (59) units with
balconies/patios and several community areas are all incorporated
into this facility for independent senior living. Every unit
complies with the American with Disabilities Act. Amenities include
handicapped accessibility, an oversized courtyard, an elevator,
access gates, five community rooms with activities and a laundry
room. This incredible development, made possible with HUD funding is
the second low-income senior facility for the AGA. Call (210)

Charles A. Gonzalez Senior Community Residence
This low-income senior complex was completed in October 2005 and
is located at 2022 S. Zarzamora. This facility, named after
Congressman Charles A. Gonzalez, has 60 units with balconies/patios
and several community areas that are all incorporated into this
facility to facilitate independent senior living. Every unit
complies with the American with Disabilities Act. Amenities include
handicapped accessibility, an elevator, access gates, five community
rooms with activities and a laundry room. This incredible
development made possible by HUD funding is the third low income
