The Board of Directors brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the task of guiding the Avenida Guadalupe Association, Inc. (AGA) into the future. They provide countless hours of personal time carrying forward the mission of the AGA and bringing economic development to the Avenida Guadalupe Neighborhood. The Board of Directors, both past and present, has provided leadership that is recognized nationally as one of the finest examples of grass roots community development. The AGA has set the example for reinvigorating inner-city urban America. The leadership of these dedicated board members and past board members, who served before them since December 1979, is to restore the Avenida Guadalupe Neighborhood to the vibrant community it once was in the 1950’s and early 1960’s. The Board of Directors is truly a treasure of the community and their personal commitment to the City of San Antonio and the Avenida Guadalupe Neighborhood is greatly valued.

The Avenida Guadalupe Association (AGA) is seeking nominations of individuals qualified to serve on our Board of Directors for the term of October 2008 - October 2011.
